Kybella
Kybella is an FDA-approved injectable treatment that reduces submental fat, commonly known as a double chin, by permanently destroying fat cells.
How it Works:
Kybella uses a synthetic form of deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring molecule that breaks down dietary fat. It is injected directly into the treatment area to target fat cells.
Treatment Experience:
Takes about 20–30 minutes. Mild swelling or tenderness is expected and may last up to a week. Most patients need 2–4 sessions for optimal results.
